1974年のサイクロン・トレーシーで大きな被害を受け、内部は改修されています。
オーディット・ハウスは主にオーストラリア・ナショナル・トラスト（NT）の本部および管理センターとして使用されています。オーディット・ハウスとその敷地は、結婚式や展覧会などのプライベートなイベントに貸し出すことができます。
