バースデー ウォーターホールは、チョリチャ/西マクドネル国立公園のヒュー川にある半永久的な水たまりです。
アリス スプリングスからマウント ソンダーまで続く 231 キロメートルのララピンタ トレイルのセクション 4 と 5 へのアクセス ポイントでもあります。
バースデー ウォーターホールは、重要な生態学的場所である大きなリバー レッド ガムの木に囲まれています。砂漠のレインボーフィッシュ、カエル、水生無脊椎動物の群れが多く生息しているため、水鳥がこの水たまりに引き寄せられます。
キャンプは許可されており、アクセスには高車高の四輪駆動車のみ使用できます。バースデー ウォーターホールは、ナマジラ ドライブの分岐点から 14.4 キロメートルのところにあります。車で 1 時間かかります。バースデー ウォーターホールには施設がないため、水とキャンプ用品をすべて持参してください。
