Knuckey Lagoon Bush Camp

Knuckey Lagoon Bush camp provides secure bush camping sites very close to Darwin, Palmerston, Nightcliff and the airport. Each site has been placed well away from others so you will have your own patch to yourself. Your camp will overlook a man made lagoon full of bird life particularly in the dry season. Other wildlife include freshwater crocodiles, turtles. Echidnas have been spotted but your chance of seeing them is zero as they are very elusive. Note we are very close to the airport so you can do some plane spotting while in your tent. During the military exercises the jet noise is extreme. The mossie situation is pretty good right now but it varies from a little bit bad to allot bad. You must have mosquito proof camping gear You are camping in the bush so it must be stressed we offer no facilities other than a camp site and a rubbish bin located at the front gate. There are no toilets, showers, power or water available. You must have with you a chemical or composting toilet.
