過去的伐木業砍伐了許多千層樹，木材被用來建造達爾文的斯托克斯山碼頭。公園保護道格拉斯河的部分河段，該河段最終在下游約50公里處匯入戴利河。

If you’re a visitor to the NT, you need an NT Parks Visitor Pass to visit most national parks and reserves. The pass allows you to visit all parks and reserves managed by the NT Government within your valid dates.
