特諾拉（戈斯布拉夫）自然保護區不僅是具有國際科學價值的場所，也是西阿倫特原住民文化的重要之地。
它位於愛麗絲泉以西約175公里處，也是一個巨大的隕石坑所在地。
不妨在附近的山脊上的泰勒斯山口觀景台稍作停留，欣賞壯麗的景色。這個隕石坑高出沙漠180米，週長達五公里，令人嘆為觀止。隕石坑的大部分已被侵蝕殆盡，其原始坑底如今位於地表以下兩公里處。
大約1.42億年前，一顆巨大的彗星撞擊澳洲中部，形成了這個隕石坑，它是世界上最大的撞擊坑之一。
保護區對西阿倫特原住民意義非凡，他們相信特諾拉拉是由一群婦女化作銀河在天空中翩翩起舞而形成的。在跳舞的過程中，一位母親將嬰兒連同木製嬰兒背帶一起放在一邊。背帶不慎從舞池邊緣翻落，墜落到地面，最終化作了特諾拉拉（Tnorala）圓形岩石。
保護區內禁止露營生火。

If you’re a visitor to the NT, you need an NT Parks Visitor Pass to visit most national parks and reserves. The pass allows you to visit all parks and reserves managed by the NT Government within your valid dates.
