Bonney Well 是南北储备干线上仅存的三个储备井之一，石堆完好无损。
井和相关遗迹是 19 世纪后期建造的政府建造的存量井的一个很好的代表性例子。 1878-79 年，Arthur 和 Alfred Giles 将牛羊带到 Springvale 的探险队在 1878-79 年首次挖掘，Bonney Well 在 1883 年至 1884 年间被加深。1892 年增加了石堆和鞭子系统。鞭子系统不再保留，而是石头垃圾场、油罐架和这个时代槽位的证据都存在。 1930 年代后期安装的钻孔、风车和水箱以及后来的水泥水箱是该领土工业遗产中那个时代的一个很好的例子，当时钻孔取代了水井，成为库存供水的主要方式。
